Old Street Optimization Team
When Generation Z meets the old street,
They continue the tradition in another language
Zhengyi Old Street is an ancient street that preserves the architectural style of Jiangnan and is also a cultural space that carries historical memories. But in the face of the new era, it also faces the challenge of "how to develop in protection and connect youth in inheritance".
The group aims to design a youth friendly ancient town and conducts on-site observations and interviews around architectural style, convenient navigation, intangible cultural heritage display, and commercial ecology. Based on the research, a systematic optimization plan was proposed, including a bilingual tour guide system, QR code interactive maps, youth cultural and creative markets and exhibition spaces, tourism route optimization, etc., attempting to reactivate an ancient town in the language of young people.
In the presentation of the results, the presenter Kaicheng Jing delivered a fluent presentation in all English, expressing himself naturally and logically, which won the recognition of the entire audience. They are still conducting creative tourist interviews on site, collecting real feelings through interaction with tourists, and further improving the plan.

Kunshan Duke Research Team
Dialogue with the world, starting from a real interview
In the context of globalization, where does a university's core competitiveness come from
The students from the Duke research group walked into the campus with this question. They are not here to take photos and check in, but to deeply contemplate the essence of international education from the perspective of investigators and researchers.
On the day of practice, they not only visited the campus, but also had the opportunity to have a face-to-face exchange with a professor from the United States - from the curriculum system to international exchange programs, from academic ability cultivation to multicultural integration.
After conducting research, they regarded Duke Kunshan University as an excellent example of Sino foreign cooperative education. In the results presentation, they depicted an educational sample of a Sino foreign cooperative university taking root in China with clear charts, rigorous language, and real interview clips.
The value of international education is never just about studying abroad, but about measuring one's own possibilities with a global perspective

Let's pave the way towards the world
Starting from seeing, listening, and taking action
This social practice spans across the East and West, connects ancient and modern, and integrates three core skills: global perspective, patriotism, and public speaking expression. Students move from 'knowing' to 'understanding', from 'participation' to 'design', and from 'execution' to 'reflection'.
They gradually realized
Culture is about participation, not observation
They are no longer just passive learners
More importantly, it is a young narrator who faces the world
cultural identity
Not just memorizing history
But rather finding the true relationship between oneself and culture
